ABOUT US

"We are people who normally would not mix. But there exists among us a fellowship, a friendliness, and an understanding which is indescribably wonderful."

WHO WE ARE

Eastlake BBA is a fellowship of faith born in September 2016. We are men and women who have had a spiritual awakening as a result of the Twelve Steps program of recovery found in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Our fellowship aims to create a loving culture in Eastlake BBA where anyone can belong before they believe.

Eastlake BBA is Big Book Awakening (BBA) group located in Chula Vista, California with meetings on Sunday and Monday nights.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

"Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends—this is an experience you must not miss. We know you will not want to miss it. Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other is the bright spot of our lives."

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to share our experience, strength and hope with others, especially alcoholics and addicts.

OUR CORE VALUES

"My friend promised when these things were done I would enter upon a new relationship with my Creator; that I would have the elements of a way of living which answered all my problems. Belief in the power of God, plus enough willingness, honesty and humility to establish and maintain the new order of things, were the essential requirements." –Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th Edition (pp. 13-14)
